Question: are you 'barrel cacti' what in S. Africa (and beyond) we call 'prickly pears?' (Best served chilled.)

Thanks! Here in Tucson, AZ our Barrel Cacti are barrel shaped (some taller and others more roundy; but that's the general idea) and our Prickly Pears have multiple flat pads.
