Thanks, for your beautiful art and the many Southwestern spring blooms named. Here in Southeastern PA, I won't be able to name the abundant blossoms (names enter one of my ears and march right out the other one). Spring blooms are happening two weeks earlier than last March attested by the the photo I made of the cherry blossoms at our entryway on March 28, 2023, that bloomed this year on March 14th. I can tell you that whites, yellows, pinks, purples, and magentas are everywhere from ground level to high tree branches. Leaf buds are beginning to burst open. Forested hillsides have a faint green tinge dotted here and there with white blossoms. Rain has been abundantly soaking the earth. Ducks swam on the lawn in the grassy depression not far from my window. I've only needed my warmest coat two times this just-ended winter. A mix of beauty and poignance stirs my heart's desire to husband the abundant gifts we share-- our heritage in common.

Wonderful post. Cherry blossoms are coming out in Vancouver, but since they're not native, I guess that doesn't really count.

Thank you! I think the cherry blossoms "count" in the sense that they're heralds of Spring, of growth, and of the world renewing itself.
