Last week we had a number (12-25/day, to be exact) of Green Lacewings hanging out on our patio walls and ceiling. I love their bright green color and so one of these became the subject matter for my Perpetual Journal. Lacewings are beneficial insects (meaning, beneficial to humans) as their larvae eat aphids and other garden pests. Lacewing larvae have been described as voracious predators and are known as "aphid lions".
Now that I have a minute to "chillax" I'm trying to answer your question of my fave tag. Hmmm. If I pick out one, the rest start yelling "me, me, me" and I can't decide over the racket. Actually, I really do love them all. I like the Art Process tag because it reminds me of where this all began. And since that took place at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, each of the tags and their images and stories bring me close again to the southwestern desert lands that I have loved so much. So, now, dear tags, you can chillax and stop the yelling and jumping up and down. I love every one of you.
